Holy Trinity Church is a small Russian Orthodox church on King George Island near Bellingshausen Station, a Russian research station in Antarctica. It is one of the eight churches on Antarctica and the southernmost Eastern Orthodox church in the world. Holy Trinity Church is situated 570 metres north of Escudero Station.

The St. Mary Queen of Peace Chapel is a Catholic chapel located in Villa Las Estrellas, in the Chilean Antarctic Territory, which includes in the commune of Antártica, within the Region of Magallanes and Chilean Antarctica, about 1580 km from Punta Arenas. Chapel of Saint Mary Queen of Peace is situated 310 metres northwest of Escudero Station.

Base Presidente Eduardo Frei Montalva is the most important Antarctic base of Chile. It is located at Fildes Peninsula, an ice-free area, in front of Fildes Bay, at the west end of King George Island, South Shetland Islands.

Villa Las Estrellas is a Chilean civilian settlement on King George Island, the largest of the South Shetland Islands off the Antarctic Peninsula. It consists of some dozen prefabs but is a vital service hub for all the bases on the island.
