The Refugio Paz de Las Aves is a 25-hectare private nature reserve in the western foothills of the Ecuadorian Andes. It is located near the equator at 1,969 metres' altitude, between Mindo parish and Nanegalito. Refugio Paz de las Aves is situated 3½ km east of Quebrada Santa Rosa.
