Lokitaung is a settlement in Kenya's Turkana County, a few kilometres northwest Lake Turkana. Lokitaung is the site of the 36-million year old Lokitaung Basalt lava flows, which lay atop Cretaceous sediments including dinosaur bones. Lokitaung is situated 9 km southeast of Lokitaung Airport.
