Angangueo is a small village in Michoacan, Mexico, best known for being the closest town to El Rosario, the most popular entrance to Reserva de la Biosfera de la Mariposa Monarca.

The Monarch Butterfly Reserves are in Michoacán of Mexico. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Millions of monarch butterflies descend on the forests of Michoacan each November and leave for their northward migration around March.
