Heraclea Lyncestis, also transliterated Herakleia Lynkestis, was an ancient Greek city in Macedon, ruled later by the Romans. Its ruins are situated 2 km south of the present-day town of Bitola, North Macedonia. Heraclea Lyncestis is situated 3 km east of Gramatnica.

Zandan Tower is a former Ottoman defensive and prison tower in Bitola, North Macedonia. It was built in the early 17th century by Haci Mahmud Efendi, the mufti of Bitola, on a private homestead next to a multi-family housing block in which Turkish and Albanian residents lived.
