Engelberg is a mountain of Baden-Württemberg, Germany. The mountain rises up over the town of Leonberg, Engelberg at a height of 480.60 metres. Originally known as Endelberg, it has been called by its current name since the 16th century.

Schloss Leonberg was founded in 1248 by count Ulrich I of Württemberg. The original castle was modified between 1560 and 1565 by the master builder Aberlin Tretsch by order of the duke Christoph. Leonberg Castle is situated 1 km west of Engelberg-Tower.

Leonberg is a town in the German federal state of Baden-Württemberg about 16 km to the west of Stuttgart, the state capital. About 45,000 people live in Leonberg, making it the third-largest borough in the rural district of Böblingen.
