Vihre

Vihre is a village in the Municipality of Krško in eastern Slovenia. It lies between the right bank of the Sava River and the motorway from Ljubljana to Zagreb.

Cerklje ob Krki Airport

Cerklje ob Krki Airport is the only military airport in Slovenia, and a civilian airport. The Cerklje ob Krki Air Base operates at it. The airport is in the midst of an enlargement and restructuring.

The Krško Nuclear Power Plant is located in Vrbina in the City Municipality of Krško, Slovenia. The plant was connected to the power grid on October 2, 1981, and went into commercial operation on January 15, 1983. Krško Nuclear Power Plant is situated 3 km north of Vihre.
