Korešnica is the largest village in the municipality of Demir Kapija in North Macedonia. It is mixed ethnically Turks, Serbs, and ethnic Macedonians. It is seen from the main highway on the opposite side of Demir Kapija. Korešnica is situated 3 km west of Kavakli Čuka.

Demir Kapija is a town in the Povardarie region of North Macedonia. Its name is Turkish for "Iron Gate", which refers to the canyon near the town. The area is also known for its wineries, particularly the Popova Kula Winery.
