The Penteli Observatory, also known as the Penteli Astronomical Station, is an astronomical observatory in Penteli, Greece, operated by the National Observatory of Athens.

Davelis Cave, also known as the Cave of Penteli, is a cave on the southwestern slope of Mount Penteli, northeast of Athens. It received its modern nickname, "the cave of Davelis", because of a popular association with the 19th-century brigand Christos Davelis.

Sismanogleio General Hospital in Vrilissia, Athens is one of the largest public hospitals in Greece. Its name in Katharevousa is Sismanogleion. During the 2009 swine flu pandemic Seismanogleion treated the first swine flu patient in Greece. Sismanogleio General Hospital is situated 3 km southwest of Nea Penteli.
