Shōryaku-ji is a Shingon temple in the southeast of Nara, Japan. Founded in 992, it is the head temple of the Bodaisen Shingon sect. The temple is considered the birthplace of modern methods of refined sake production.

Enshō-ji, also known as Yamamura Palace, is a Buddhist temple complex in Nara founded by Queen Bunchi, daughter of Emperor Go-Mizunoo, in 1656. Together with Chūgū-ji and Hokke-ji, it is considered one of the Three Yamato Monzeki, or imperial temples, belonging to the Myōshin-ji school of Rinzai Zen.
