La Plata Lake

Lago La Plata is a located between the municipalities of , , and in . The lake was created in 1973 and serves as a reservoir for potable water. The lake receives flow from the La Plata River and can be used for fishing.

It was named after Jesus Izcoa Moure, as he was the first state legislator to be a native of Naranjito, and his signature is stamped on the Constitution of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. is situated 2½ km east of La Plata Lake.

It is significant as "the only extant large multi span truss bridge in Puerto Rico", according to its nomination document for listing on the National Register of Historic Places. is situated 3 km southeast of La Plata Lake.
