Gezira

Gezira is a district of modern Cairo that occupies the southern portion of the main island in the Nile within Cairo itself; in fact, gezira means "island" in Arabic.

Cairo Tower

The Cairo Tower is a free-standing concrete tower in Cairo, Egypt. It was completed in 1961. At 187 m, it was the tallest structure in Egypt for 37 years until 1998, when it was surpassed by the Suez Canal overhead powerline crossing. Cairo Tower is situated 760 metres northeast of Indiana Dokki.

The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities, commonly known as the Egyptian Museum and also called the Cairo Museum or the Egyptian Museum in Cairo, is a national history museum in Cairo, Egypt. Egyptian Museum is situated 1½ km east of Indiana Dokki.

Dokki is one of nine districts that make up Giza city, which is part of Greater Cairo, in Egypt. Dokki is situated on the western bank of the Nile, directly across from Downtown Cairo.
