Sinseol-dong Station is a station on the Seoul Subway Line 1, the Seongsu Branch of Seoul Subway Line 2, and Ui LRT. There is a piece of track that connects the Line 1 and Line 2 stations, and Line 1 trains belonging to Seoul Metro are serviced at the Gunja Train Depot behind Yongdap Station using this connective track. Sinseol-dong is situated 740 metres south of New Boolim.

Bomun Station is a railway station on Seoul Subway Line 6 and Ui LRT in Seongbuk District, Seoul, South Korea. Bomun is situated 380 metres northwest of New Boolim.

Heunginjimun, a.k.a. Dongdaemun, is one of The Eight Gates of Seoul in the Seoul City Wall, a prominent landmark in central Seoul, South Korea. The Korean name "Dongdaemun" means "Great East Gate," and it was so named because it was the major eastern gate in the wall that surrounded Seoul during the Joseon period. Dongdaemun is situated 1½ km southwest of New Boolim.
