Muurla is a former municipality of Finland. It was consolidated with Salo on 1 January 2009. It is located in the province of Western Finland and is part of the Southwest Finland region. Muurla is situated 9 km southwest of Tokholma.

Suomusjärvi is a former municipality in Finland Proper, today part of Salo. It was a common stop on present highway 110 when it was highway 1. The administrative centre was Kitula, while the former parish village is 3 km farther towards Helsinki.
