Vähäkyrö is a former municipality of Finland and an exclave of the city of Vaasa since January 1, 2013. It was located in the province of Western Finland and is part of the Ostrobothnia region.

Laihia is a town in Ostrobothnia, Finland. Like the inhabitants of Scotland and Gabrovo the locals have a reputation of stinginess which is the theme of the Laihia jokes. The town even has a Museum of Stinginess!
