Oktogon is one of Pest's major intersections, located at the junction of the Grand Boulevard and Andrássy Avenue in Budapest, Hungary. This junction, one of the city's most important, is named for its octagonal shape. Oktogon is situated 230 metres south of Easyhotel Budapest Oktogon.

The Hungarian State Opera House is a historic opera house located in central Budapest, on Andrássy avenue. Originally known as the Hungarian Royal Opera House, it was designed by Miklós Ybl, a major figure of 19th-century Hungarian architecture. Hungarian State Opera House is situated 600 metres southwest of Easyhotel Budapest Oktogon.

Belváros or Downtown is the V. District of Budapest. It consists of two historic neighbourhoods with well-defined borders within the V. District - Lipótváros in the north includes the Parliament and many governmental buildings, Szent István Basilica and some museums, while the southern part is mostly high-class accommodations, shops and nightlife area.
