Meeru Island is an island on the easternmost tip of North Malé Atoll in the Maldives. It is located South West of Sri Lanka on the equator, some 50 kilometres from the capital Male'. Meeru Island is situated 150 metres north of Meeru Island Resort.

Dhiffushi is an inhabited island in Kaafu Atoll in the Republic of Maldives. Located approximately 37 kilometers northeast of Malé, the capital city, it is the easternmost inhabited island in the Maldives and witnesses the country’s first sunrise. Dhiffushi is situated 1¼ km south of Meeru Island Resort.
