Okoba Station is a railway station on the Hisatsu Line in Hitoyoshi, Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan, operated by Kyushu Railway Company. The station opened December 26 1909.

Hitoyoshi Castle was an Edo period flatlands-style Japanese castle located in the city of Hitoyoshi, Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan. Its ruins have been protected as a National Historic Site since 1961. Hitoyoshi Castle is situated 3½ km northwest of Higashi-Urushidamachi.
