National Bunraku Theater (Nipponbashi or Nippombashi)

The National Bunraku Theatre is a complex consisting of two halls and an exhibition room, located in Chūō-ku, Osaka, Japan. The complex was opened in 1984 as the fourth national theatre of the country, to become the headquarters of bunraku. National Bunraku Theater (Nipponbashi or Nippombashi) is situated 340 metres south of Ryokan Kuramoto.

Nipponbashi is a shopping district of Naniwa Ward, Osaka, Japan. The area is centered along Sakaisuji Avenue, extending from the Ebisu-chō Interchange of the Hanshin Expressway in the south, to Nansan-dōri in the north. Nippon-bashi Bridge is situated 230 metres southwest of Ryokan Kuramoto.
