In fieldwork done by anthropologist Riki Van Boeschoten in late 1993, Piperies was populated by a Greek population descended from Anatolian Greek refugees who arrived during the Greek–Turkish population exchange, and Slavophones.

Lykostomo is a village in Pella regional unit, Macedonia, Greece. Lykostomo had 382 inhabitants in 1981. In fieldwork done by anthropologist Riki Van Boeschoten in late 1993, Lykostomo was populated by Slavophones and a Greek population descended from Anatolian Greek refugees who arrived during the Greek–Turkish population exchange. Lykostomo is situated 2½ km northwest of Mikrochori.

Sosandra is a village in Pella regional unit, Macedonia, Greece. Sosandra had 1291 inhabitants in 1981. In fieldwork done by anthropologist Riki Van Boeschoten in late 1993, Sosandra was populated by Slavophones and a Greek population descended from Anatolian Greek refugees who arrived during the Greek–Turkish population exchange. Sosandra is situated 3 km northeast of Mikrochori.
