The New Museum of Contemporary Art is a museum at 235 Bowery, on the Lower East Side of Manhattan in New York City. It was founded in 1977 by Marcia Tucker. New Museum is situated 1,000 feet northeast of The Sohotel.

Brooklyn Bridge

The Brooklyn Bridge is a cable-stayed suspension bridge in New York City, spanning the East River between the boroughs of Manhattan and Brooklyn. Opened on May 24, 1883, the Brooklyn Bridge was the first fixed crossing of the East River. Brooklyn Bridge is situated 1 mile south of The Sohotel.

The Bowery station is a station on the BMT Nassau Street Line of the New York City Subway. Located at the intersection of Bowery and Delancey Street on the Lower East Side of Manhattan, it is served by the J train at all times and the Z train during rush hours in the peak direction.
