Jemaa el-Fnaa, also Jemaa el-Fna, Djema el-Fna or Djemaa el-Fnaa, is a square and market place in the medina quarter of Marrakesh, Morocco. It remains the main square of Marrakesh, used by locals and tourists. Jemaa el-Fnaa is situated 1½ km north of Villa Makassar.

Bab Ksiba is a gate in Marrakesh, Morocco. Bab Ksiba and another more famous gate further north, Bab Agnaou, served as entrances to the Kasbah district in the southern part of the medina of Marrakesh, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Bab Ksiba is situated 220 metres west of Villa Makassar.

The Barrima Mosque is a mosque in Marrakesh, Morocco, attached to the Kasbah and Royal Palace of the city. It was built in the late 18th century by the Alawi sultan Muhammad ibn Abdallah. Berrima Mosque is situated 590 metres northeast of Villa Makassar.
