The Franz Liszt Academy of Music is a music university and a concert hall in Budapest, Hungary, founded on 14 November 1875. It is home to the Liszt Collection, which features several valuable books and manuscripts donated by Franz Liszt upon his death, and the AVISO studio, a collaboration between the governments of Hungary and Japan to provide sound recording equipment and training for students. Opera is a station of the yellow M1 line of the Budapest Metro. It is located under Andrássy Avenue in front of the Hungarian State Opera House. The station was opened on 2 May 1896 as part of the inaugural section of the Budapest Metro, between Vörösmarty tér and Széchenyi fürdő.
