The Zebrnjak Memorial is a war memorial commemorating the Battle of Kumanovo, fought in 1912 as part of the First Balkan War. It is situated on the battlefield, close to the village of Mlado Nagoričane, near Kumanovo, North Macedonia.

Kostoperska Karpa, also known as Kostoperski Rid and, is an ancient archeological site near Kumanovo and Mlado Nagoričane, North Macedonia. The ancient site includes ruins from the Macedonian Kingdom, Roman Empire, and Byzantine Empire. Kostoperska Karpa is situated 3½ km northeast of Petraličani.

Kumanovo is a city with about 105,000 people located in the northern part of Eastern North Macedonia. Located in the middle of a long valley 35 km to the northeast of Skopje, Kumanovo is one of North Macedonia’s larger cities.

Staro Nagoričane is a municipality in northeastern North Macedonia between Kumanovo and Kriva Palanka, bordering Serbia to the north. The rural municipality of under 6,000 inhabitants is home to a number of significant places of interest including archaeological sites, monuments and memorials, and churches.
