Ming Tombs station, is a station on the Changping Line of the Beijing Subway. It was opened on 26 December 2015. Despite being named after the Ming Tombs, the station itself is still 4 km away from the actual Ming Tombs Scenic Area, and has no other public transport access as of 2021 due to road conditions.

The Ming Tombs Reservoir or the Shisanling Reservoir is a dam in Changping District of northern Beijing, China. Named for the Ming tombs nearby, it is the lower reservoir of the Shisanling Pumped Storage Power Station. Ming Tombs Reservoir is situated 3½ km east of Dagongmen.

Shisanling Town is a town located in the northern part of Changping District, Beijing, China. Situated at the immediate south of Taihang Mountain Range, Shisanling shares border with Jingzhuang Town and Dazhuangke Township in the north, Yanshou Town in the east, Cuicun and Nanshao Towns in the southeast, Chengbei and Chengnan Subdistricts in the south, and Nankou Town in the west. Shisanling is situated 2½ km north of Dagongmen.

Chengbei Subdistrict is situated 4½ km southeast of Dagongmen.
