Silum is an Alp of Liechtenstein, located in the municipality of Triesenberg. It is located on a distinctive slumping mass composed of scree slopes, positioned beneath the breakaway ridge of one of the Alps' largest landslides, which occurred approximately 12,000 years ago following the retreat of the Rhine Glacier.

Triesenberg is a mountain town and municipality of 2,600 in Liechtenstein. It also happens to be the country's largest municipality. The municipality is part of the "The Most Beautiful Swiss Villages" association, which represents 48 villages in Switzerland and Liechtenstein. Triesenberg is situated 2½ km west of Zügtobel.
