Yamanaka Castle was a Sengoku period yamajiro-style Japanese castle, built by the Odawara Hōjō clan in Tagata District, Izu Province, in what is now eastern Mishima, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. Yamanaka Fort Ruins is situated 2½ km southwest of Fuji Hakone Land.

The Hakone Barrier was a security checkpoint which was established by the Tokugawa Shogunate on the Tōkaidō highway connecting the capital of Edo with Kyoto in Edo period Japan. In 1923, the site was recognized as a National Historic Site. Hakone checkpoint is situated 3 km north of Fuji Hakone Land.

Lake Ashi, also referred to as Hakone Lake or Ashinoko Lake, is a scenic lake in the Hakone area of Kanagawa Prefecture in Honshū, Japan. It is a crater lake that lies along the southwest wall of the caldera of Mount Hakone, a complex volcano that last erupted in 1170 CE at Ōwakudani. Hakone-Machi Pirate Ship Ferry Port is situated 2½ km north of Fuji Hakone Land.
