Minoritenplatz

The Minoritenplatz is one of the oldest public squares in Vienna. It is located in the first district Innere Stadt, and is dominated by the Minoritenkirche church, after which the square is named.

The Burgtheater (; literally: "Castle Theater" but alternatively translated as " Court Theater", originally known as K.K. Theater an der Burg, then until 1918 as the K.K. Burgtheater is situated 240 metres northwest of Minoritenplatz.
