The Air Base Alpnach is a Swiss Air Force airfield near the town Alpnach in Canton of Obwalden in Switzerland. It has a concrete runway with a length of 1,500 meters and a width of 40 meters, as well as several taxiways and hangars.

Alpnachstad railway station is a Swiss railway station in the municipality of Alpnach in the canton of Obwalden. It is on the Brünig line, owned by the Zentralbahn, that links Lucerne and Interlaken. Alpnachstad PB railway station, the lower terminus of the Pilatus Railway, a rack railway that ascends to the summit of Pilatus, is located across the street. Alpnachstad railway station is situated 3½ km northwest of Ennetmoos, Waldheim.
