Kghzi

Kghzi is a field in Vayots Dzor Province, Armenia and has an elevation of 1,013 metres. Kghzi is situated nearby to the abandoned locality Hin Areni, as well as near Tstsakhach.

Areni-1 cave

The Areni-1 cave complex is an ancient multicomponent site, and late Chalcolithic/Early Bronze Age ritual site and settlement, located near the Areni village in southern Armenia along the Arpa River. Areni-1 cave is situated 3½ km northeast of Kghzi.

Surb Astvatsatsin of Areni is a single-nave two-aisled domed church completed in the year 1321. It is located atop a plateau overlooking the Arpa River and the village of Areni in the Vayots Dzor Province of Armenia.

Areni is a village and the center of the Areni Municipality of the Vayots Dzor Province in Armenia. Areni is best known for its wine production, with the majority of wine produced locally from the nearby village of Getap.
