Odesa International Airport is an international airport of Odesa, the third largest city of Ukraine, located 7 km southwest from its city centre. On 24 February 2022, Ukraine closed airspace to civilian flights due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Odesa International Airport is situated 3½ km south of Vulytsia Shchorsa.

Moldavanka is a historical part of Odesa in the Odesa Oblast of southern Ukraine, located jointly in Khadzhybeiskyi and Prymorskyi urban districts. Before 1820 it was a settlement just outside Odesa, which later engulfed it. Moldavanka is situated 3 km northeast of Vulytsia Shchorsa.
