Yamanaka Castle was a Sengoku period yamajiro-style Japanese castle, built by the Odawara Hōjō clan in Tagata District, Izu Province, in what is now eastern Mishima, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan.

Gekko Tenmondai is an astronomical observatory located in the Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. It was founded in 1957 by Ananaikyo members and is owned by the International Foundation for Cultural Harmony. Gekkou Astronomical Observatory is situated 3½ km south of Yamanaka-shinden.
