Suonan is a town, and the county seat of, Dongxiang Autonomous County, Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu, China. It was named after Tibetan Empire consul Sunanpu, who lived here. Suonan is situated 9 km northeast of Hexian.
