Hagia Triada

Hagia Triada, is a Minoan archaeological site in Crete. The site includes the remains of an extensive settlement noted for its monumental NeoPalatial and PostPalatial period buildings especially the large Royal Villa. Hagia Triada is situated 3½ km east of Afrathias.

Kamilari is a village on the island of Crete, Greece. There is an archaeological site of an ancient Minoan cemetery nearby, the Kamilari Minoan Tholos tomb and a Roman graveyard at the slopes of the Ovgora hill. Kamilari is situated 2½ km east of Afrathias.

Kommos

Kommos is an archaeological site in southern Crete. During the Minoan period, it served as a harbour town for nearby Phaistos and Hagia Triada. After the Bronze Age, a sanctuary was built over the ruins of the earlier town. Kommos is situated 4 km south of Afrathias.

Tympaki is a town and a former municipality in the Heraklion regional unit, Crete, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reforms, it is a part of the municipality of Faistos, of which it is a municipal unit, the unit has an area of 157.122 km2. Tympaki is situated 3 km northeast of Afrathias.
