St. Mary’s Cathedral

The Cathedral of Saint Mary, commonly called Chiclayo Cathedral, is the seat of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Chiclayo in Chiclayo, Peru. The cathedral church was built in the neo-classical style starting in 1869 according to designs and plans commissioned from Gustave Eiffel, nicknamed "Rose Meridionale".

Ventarrón is the site of a 4,500-year-old temple with painted murals, which was excavated in Peru in 2007 near Chiclayo, in the Lambayeque region on the northern coast. Ventarron is situated 10 km southeast of San Luis.
