Tokyo National Museum

The Tokyo National Museum or TNM is an art museum in Ueno Park in the Taitō ward of Tokyo, Japan. It is one of the four museums operated by the National Institutes for Cultural Heritage, is considered the oldest national museum and the largest art museum in Japan. Tokyo National Museum is situated 1¼ km east of Yayoi Nichōme Iseki.

The Ueno Zoo is a 14.3-hectare zoo, managed by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, and located in Taitō, Tokyo, Japan. It is Japan's oldest zoo, opened on March 20, 1882. Ueno Zoo is situated 600 metres east of Yayoi Nichōme Iseki.

Yasuda Auditorium

Yasuda Auditorium is a building and clock tower at the center of the Hongō campus of the University of Tokyo. It serves as the central symbol of the campus, where special events and graduation ceremonies are held. Yasuda Auditorium is situated 320 metres southwest of Yayoi Nichōme Iseki.

Yayoi is a neighbourhood in Bunkyo, Tokyo. In 1884, when it was part of Tokyo City, it was the location of a shell mound where a new type of pottery was discovered by Shogoro Tsuboi and his colleagues.
