Kafanchan is in Kaduna State, Nigeria. It is the junction town where the railtracks connecting the Kaduna-Zaria-Kaura Namoda, Akwanga-Enugu-Port Harcourt, Kuru-Jos-Bauchi-Maiduguri meet at the Nigerian Railway Corporation station built in 1927.
