The Cathedral Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe Also Colima Cathedral is the name that receives the most important Catholic church of the city of Colima, in Mexico that was designated 12 of October 1998 by Pope John Paul II, like Basilica Minor, since it is the first consecrated to the Virgin of Guadalupe in Latin America. Cathedral Basilica of Colima is situated 3 km south of La Campana.

El Chanal
Archaeological site
El Chanal is an archaeological site located at El Chanal town, 4 kilometres north of the city of Colima, Mexico. Based on its extension, over 50 hectares, it is probable that it was the largest settlement of the state of Colima; it developed on both banks of the “Río Verde” or Río Colima. El Chanal is situated 3½ km northeast of La Campana.
