It is the referral hospital for the districts of Busia, Budaka, Kibuku, Kapchorwa, Bukwa, Butaleja, Manafwa, Mbale, Pallisa, Sironko and Tororo. Mbale Hospital is situated 590 metres northeast of CURE Children’s Hospital of Uganda.
