Copándaro is a municipality in the Mexican state of Michoacán. The municipality has an area of 173.52 square kilometres and is bordered to the north by Huandacareo and Cuitzeo, to the east and south by Tarímbaro, and to the west by Chucándiro. Copándaro is situated 3½ km northwest of Los Capulines.
