West Busan consists of the districts of Sasang-gu, Gangseo-gu and Saha-gu in the city of Busan. This western part of the city is full of industrial parks leading to docks and the airport.

Gimhae is a city west of Busan in the south-eastern province of South Gyeongsang, South Korea. Often overlooked as just the location of Busan's airport, Gimhae has plenty of historical sights. It was a significant city in the ancient Gaya confederacy.
