Lernamerdz is an Armenian village of 400 people in Armavir Province that still follows Soviet communism, even after the fall of the Soviet Union in 1991.

Amberd; known as Franganots until 1978, is a village in the Armavir Province of Armenia. The village is home to the historic church of Thomas the Apostle, dating back to the 12th century. Amberd is situated 3 km southeast of P’oser.
