Castagniers Abbey

Castagniers Abbey is a Cistercian nunnery, in , 12 km from in the departement in southwestern . In 1865, Dom Marie-Bernard Barnouin, restorer of , founded a Cistercian community for women in in the diocese of Digne, and in 1869, another in , the Abbaye de Notre-Dame des Prés.
