Lalatapa is a 271.1 m high hill in the Jabrayil Rayon of Azerbaijan, 2.9 kilometres north-west of Çocuq Mərcanlı. In 2019, an archaeological expedition led by Khagani Almammadov of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan announced the discovery of a Neolithic settlement near Lalatapa.

On October 3, 2020, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence announced that the Azerbaijani Army had taken control of the village. Mehdili is situated 3 km south of Gora Lyalya-Ilyagi.
