Apuolė Hillfort

The Apuolė hillfort is a hillfort in Lithuania located by Apuolė, a historic village in Skuodas district municipality. The hillfort with a settlement is a cultural monument of the Republic of Lithuania of area 318,028 sq. m.

Apuolė is a historic village in Skuodas district municipality, Lithuania. It is situated some 8 kilometres east of Skuodas by the Luoba River. It had a population of 132 according to the 2001 census and 119 according to the 2011 census.

Kaukolikai is a village in Lithuania. It is located in the Skuodas District Municipality. According to the 2011 census, the village had 285 residents. The village is the hometown of Lithuanian singer Mia. Kaukolikai is situated 2½ km southeast of Apuolė Hillfort.
