Azatan is a village in the Akhuryan Municipality of the Shirak Province of Armenia. The Statistical Committee of Armenia reported its population was 4,838 at the 2011 census that was down from 5,697 at the 2010 estimate.

Gharibjanyan, known as Aleksandrovka until 1935, is a village in the Akhuryan Municipality of the Shirak Province of Armenia. The village was renamed in 1935 in honor of Bolshevik leader Bagrat Gharibjanyan, killed in 1920. Gharibjanyan is situated 3 km northwest of Azatani Hin.
