Tashir is a town and urban municipal community located in Lori Province at the north of Armenia. It is located 42 km north of the provincial centre Vanadzor and 154 north of the capital Yerevan.

Mikhayelovka is a village in the Lori Province of Armenia. In 1988-1989 Armenian refugees from Azerbaijan settled in the village. Mikhayelovka is situated 4 km north of K’aghak’ayin.

Petrovka is a village in the Lori Province of Armenia. The village was populated by non-religious Russians deported from the Tsarist Russian Empire. The Russians were replaced with Azerbaijanis before the exodus of Azerbaijanis from Armenia after the outbreak of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. Petrovka is situated 5 km northeast of K’aghak’ayin.
