The Grimsel Pass is a mountain pass in Switzerland, crossing the Bernese Alps at an elevation of 2,164 metres. The pass connects the Haslital, the upper valley of the river Aare, with the upper valley of the Rhône. Grimsel Pass is situated 3 km south of Räterichsbodensee.

The Gärstenhörner is a mountain in the Urner Alps, located on the border between the Swiss cantons of Bern and Valais. It lies on the range west of the Rhone Glacier, and east of the Grimsel Pass. Gärstenhörner is situated 3 km northeast of Räterichsbodensee.

The Sidelhorn is a mountain of the Bernese Alps, located west of the Grimsel Pass. It lies at the eastern end of the mountain chain between the Unteraar Glacier and the Rhone valley, named Aargrat. Sidelhorn is situated 4 km south of Räterichsbodensee.

Handeck is a village on the Grimsel pass road in the municipality of Guttannen, Switzerland. The village is located near the lake Gelmersee, which may be reached by Gelmerbahn from Handeck. There is a hotel and bridge at the village. Handeck is situated 3½ km northwest of Räterichsbodensee.
