The Hundstein is a mountain in the Alpstein massif of the Appenzell Alps, located south of Schwende in the canton of Appenzell Innerrhoden. It lies on the range east of the Altmann, between the valleys of the Seealpsee and the Fälensee.

The Ebenalp is the northernmost summit of the Alpstein in the Appenzell Alps, Switzerland. The mountain is a popular paragliding and hiking destination. Ebenalp is situated 3½ km north of Fälensee.

Wasserauen is a place in the district of Schwende in the canton of Appenzell Innerrhoden in Switzerland. The settlement consists of a few farms, the terminus stations of the railway line Gossau – Appenzell – Wasserauen of the Appenzeller Bahnen and the cable car Wasserauen - Ebenalp as well as a parking lot for tourists. Wasserauen is situated 4 km north of Fälensee.
