Lac du Vernex is a reservoir on the Saane/Sarine river at Rossinière, in the Pays d'Enhaut of the canton of Vaud. It lies at an elevation of 859 m above sea level, between the Pointe de Cray and Planachaux mountains.

Montbovon railway station, is a railway station in the municipality of Haut-Intyamon, in the Swiss canton of Fribourg. It is the terminus station on the 1,000 mm metre gauge Palézieux–Bulle–Montbovon railway line of Transports publics Fribourgeois and an intermediate stop on the Montreux–Lenk im Simmental line of Montreux Oberland Bernois Railway. Montbovon railway station is situated 2 km north of Village Devant.
